How to reach Mangal Nath Mandir Ujjain
Mangal Nath Mandir stands on the bank of the Kshipra river in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, a short distance from the centre of the city. Autos and taxis are available throughout Ujjain and drivers know the temple by name.
By train
Ujjain Junction is the nearest railway station, roughly 6 km from the temple. It is well connected to Indore, Bhopal, Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. An auto or taxi from the station takes about fifteen to twenty minutes.
By air
Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, Indore is the nearest airport, about 55 km away. Taxis are available at the airport and the drive to Ujjain generally takes an hour and a half.
By road
Ujjain is connected by highway to Indore, Dewas and Bhopal, with frequent bus services. Parking is available near the temple, though it fills quickly on Tuesdays and festival days.
Within Ujjain
From the city centre the temple is a short drive along the Kshipra. Most visitors reach it by auto, e-rickshaw or taxi. If you are visiting on a Tuesday or during a festival, allow extra time — traffic around the ghat area becomes heavy from early morning.
