About Mangal Nath Mandir Ujjain
Mangal Nath Mandir Ujjain is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Mangal (Mars), in the holy city of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh — traditionally regarded as the land through which the Tropic of Cancer passes and a centre for time and planetary calculation in Vedic cosmology. According to the Matsya Purana, this is the very place where Mangal Dev is believed to have originated, which is why Mangal Nath Mandir holds unique significance for devotees seeking the blessings of Mangal.
Set on the peaceful Kshipra ghat with an ancient Shiva Linga and a living tradition of Vedic worship, Mangal Nath Mandir Ujjain is one of the city’s most visited spiritual destinations — often included alongside darshan of Shree Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. Devotees from across India and NRI families abroad come here to perform puja for marriage, career, courage, property and overall grah shanti.
